Petteri Pietilä is an experienced international business leader with versatile executive search experience. He is a generalist in terms of the branches of industry and finds senior level talent for a wide variety of multi-national as well as national clients. He has also strong experience in working internationally. Petteri embarked on his executive search career in 2009, when he joined the Helsinki Office of TRANSEARCH as a Partner.

Previously Petteri had various executive, senior business management, export, marketing and sales positions for over 17 years in the fast moving consumer goods industry. Petteri started his career in 1991 at Unilever where he worked as Product Manager and National Account Manager. Later on he was employed by Braun/Gillette in Germany in a global Business Manager role. In 1998 Petteri returned to Finland and joined Altia Corporation, a leading wine and spirits company in the Nordic and Baltic countries. He was Export Manager and Vice President Business Director for world-famous Finnish vodka brands. Since 2002 he was a member of the executive management team of Altia Corporation and held Senior Vice President positions with full P/L responsibility for strategic business units.

Petteri holds a M.Sc. (economics) degree in foreign trade. He enjoys keeping himself in motion by swimming, roller skating, downhill skiing, jogging and going to the gym. He is also Chairman of the school board at the local elementary school. Petteri is fluent in Finnish and English and he can also communicate in Swedish and German.
